traveling through this life as a resident alien

As United Methodist Annual Conferences meet this summer the biggie at every one of them will be the consideration of the Constitutional Amendments.  It is a mixed bag this time.  The biggest of the biggies is the reorganization of Methodism into Regional Conferences.

All the amendments were briefly looked at tonight at a meeting of the district of which I am a part.  In an effort to make it easier to see both positive and negative I am going to post here links to information that I find on the WWW.

I am going to try and be fair, presenting both sides, as I find that information.  Some of what will be posted is the opinions of the writers of those particular blogs and websites.  The views will not necessarily be mine or that of any “official” UMC entity.

So, off we go.

I am going to start with a link to the website that was created just to promote these amendments.  It can be found at World Wide United Methodist Church.  Be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the page.
